Started in 2002 as a way to reach all juniors in the community, the In-School program, previously
known as "Golf in the Schools", brings professional instruction and facilities right to local Physical Education
Classes. Offered as a free service to local public schools, the program has visited over 60 schools in the last
7 years.
New for 2008, the In-School program offers a two-week curriculum for elementary schools to teach golf
in their PE classes. The program offers professional training for PE teachers, curriculum manual & hand-outs, equipment to administer
the program including clubs, balls, mats, etc... A graduation ceremony and certificate ends the session with a special gift from the
Triad Youth Golf Foundation.
