Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour

PARTICIPANT CODE OF CONDUCT REGULATIONS

 

 

The participant agreement of the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKB) is a privilege that comes with responsibility.  We are thankful to have players, parents, and host facilities participate with our tour. Its purpose is to help PKB participants grow and mature by understanding and accepting the consequences of their actions.  It is required that all participants adhere to the Peggy Kirk Bell Golf Tour Code of Conduct while participating in any PKB event.

 

 

Check In – Tee Times

 

All players must arrive at the first tee ten minutes before assigned tee time. If a player misses the beginning of the starter’s briefing, they will receive a two-stroke penalty on the first hole. Players arriving at the first tee after their schedule tee time will be disqualified. Players should have their ball marked and score card in hand before starter’s briefing starts.

 

 

Pace of Play

 

Players are required to abide by the PKB Pace of Play Guidelines.

 

 

Distance Measuring Device

 

Players are permitted to use devices that measure distance only. Devices that are capable of gauging or measuring other conditions are not permitted. Penalty: Disqualification

 

 

Violation

 

If you see a violation, tell your opponent. Do not involve spectators or parents. If you cannot agree on the ruling, bring it to a rules committee member or the Tournament Director by the end of the round and before scorecards are signed and turned in. If there is any question play two balls from the location of the potential ruling. You must follow these directions or the infraction may be ruled invalid.

 

 

Dress Code

 

Proper attire is required at all times at the host golf course. The Tournament Committee will review questionable attire. Should a host golf course have a stricter dress code, its policy will take precedence. Players in violation will not be allowed to tee off.  Participants should note women’s fashion shirts without a collar must have sleeves and must not rise above the belt line at anytime during the golf swing.

 

 

Violations of Code of Conduct

 

·        Abusive language, club throwing, cheating, disrespect of volunteers or officials, abuse of the golf course or the facility, littering or any other conduct unbecoming of a tournament participant. 

·        Not adhering to the dress code of the Tour or host facility.  It is the player’s responsibility to call the golf course to make sure of their policies regarding proper dress.

·        Use or association with alcohol, drugs or any tobacco products.

·        Conduct not becoming of a PKB player, such as acting in anger or creating other distractions.

 

 

Code of Conduct Violation Penalties

 

Any Code of Conduct violation will result in a written letter to the player and his or her parent/guardian. The PKB Tournament Committee may assess any or all of the following penalties based on severity and frequency of the violation(s):

 

·        One-stroke penalty for each act of unsportsmanlike behavior on the golf course

·        Immediate disqualification from the tournament at which the violation occurs

·        Depending on the severity of the violation, a tournament disqualification may also result in disqualification from the next event(s) for which a player has been accepted

 

The PKB reserves the right to suspend or revoke a player’s membership for a major breach of the PKB Code of Conduct

 

 

Code of Conduct/Medial Release

 

The Peggy Kirk Bell Golf Tour knows that you, as a player, know that golf is a game of integrity.  By signing this Code of Conduct, you are indicating your desire to keep the game of golf enjoyable and fun.  You will abide by and accept this Code of Conduct and the Peggy Kirk Bell Golf Tour’s enforcement of this Code of Conduct.

 

The signatures below indicate an agreement to abide by all tournament regulations and the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour Code of Conduct.  Tournament players and their parents/guardians release the host facility and the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour from any liability relating to the player’s participation in a PKB event.  In case of medical emergency at the PKB event, the tournament participant and parent/guardian signed below authorize any and all appropriate treatments as determined by qualified and licensed medical personnel.
