EVENT #9 - SALEM GLEN GC

Winston-Salem, NC -- On the J.P. Looney's Parent Child Tour Sunday September 21st, Aaron and David Abts posted a 1 over par 72 to take overall medalist honors and the 12 to 14 division. Following the Abts were the 9 to 11 division leaders, Nick & Spyros Kroustalis, posting a 73.

Following them were Meredith & Craig Mock at 74, Grant & Anthony Powell and newcomers Mathew & Steve Moore with 75's.

Also in the 8 & under division, Jacob & Scott Riddles shot 36 taking home the big trophy and extending their division lead going into the final event.

After nine events the Sockwells are still leading the overall points standings and Meadowlands and Sedgefield Golf Club are in race for the Club Cup.

The next event will be at Bryan Park on October 12th.

This event will reveal who will be the overall Club Cup Champions, division and overall tour champions. Come and join us for our most exciting event of the year.

EVENT #8 - JAMESTOWN PARK GC

The Tour hits the home stretch with its return to Jamestown Park Golf Course. We have three events on this year's Tour and the points races are heating up!

We look forward to a great event this Sunday. Tee times will begin at 12:30 pm. Event registration closes Wednesday, August 20th at 5 pm.

EVENT #7 - MEADOWLANDS GC

The next Double Points event is just around the corner at Meadowlands GC in Walburg, NC.

The "LUGG of Winston-Salem Open" will help support the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf program of Winston-Salem.

EVENT #6 - OAK VALLEY GC

Another exciting event at Oak Valley Golf Club with the "Winston-Salem Parent-Child Open" is in the books.

Our largest field of the year so far teed it up Sunday. The rain dampened the end of the event but most were able to play through for another fun event!

EVENT #5 - LEXINGTON GC

We are excited to make our 5th apperance at Lexington Golf Club for the "Lexington Parent-Child Open". A great field from all over the State is set to take aim at the tournament title and further their position in the Tour Standings & help their home club advance up the standings of the Family Club Cup.

We look forward to a great event with JJ & the crew at Lexington!

EVENT #4 - BERMUDA RUN CC - WEST

Winston-Salem, NC-- Jake & Scott Riddles of Deep Springs C.C. shot a 63 in this past Sunday's Parent Child golf action to edge out tour veterans Phil and Trevor Blevins by one shot for the overall points win and they captured the 8 & under division title for the second straight event.

Graham, NC-- The JP Looney's Parent - Child Tour was in Graham, NC this past Sunday. The weather provided a great day of golf at the always testing Challenge Golf Club. At the days end, overall medalist for the event was a tie between Caroline and Gary Webb and Brian and Dave Sowinski's with 74's.

The Sockwell's (Lance and Boyd) shot a 75 to win their division and leaped to the top of the Tour Points Standings over the Turner's while the Wooten's climbed to the top of the 9 to 11 division over the Blevins.

Sedgefield Country Club leads the way in the club cup thanks to the steady play this year of Ben and Dan Turner and this weeks win from first time tour players the Sowinski's.

Check out your team's standings and get ready for our next event at Bermuda Run on Sunday June 1st. Remember, this will be a two-man captains choice event.

Stoney Creek, NC-- We had a great time at Stoney Creek this Sunday and look forward to a great season ahead. Congratulations to our 12-14 Division Champions Ben & Dan Turner who shot 77 to take the tournament medalist honor and sit atop the Tour Points Standings.

In addition, Javin & Mark Bradley claimed the 8 & Under Division, Trevor & Philip Blevins claimed the 9-11 Division and Adult Division heavyweights Lance & Boyd Sockwell claimed the Adult Division.

In the race to name the Top Family Club in the Triad, Sedgefield CC moved atop the points standings thanks to the strong performance from the Turner's. View the complete Club Cup Standings by clicking here.
