Entering the Spring of 2008 and its 22nd season, TYGF Team Golf - Par 3 League returns to provide juniors age 6 to 14
an opportunity to experience Par-3 golf. The semi-competitive atmosphere promotes quicker learning of
skills and golf etiquette. The program prepares young golfers of all skill levels for junior tour events and
fosters a life-long enjoyment of the game. The league runs for seven weeks each season (spring, summer, and fall).
LEAGUE STRUCTURE
- Each league starts with a Qualifying Day for participants to test their skills and meet their teammates.
- A five week regular season follows where each team plays a challenge match against another team.
- The league ends with a Championship, cookout and awards ceremony.
- In addition, three awards are given out each season for the League's Most Valuable, Most Improved and Most Dedicated Player.

The goal of T.Y.G.F. and the Team Golf - Par 3 League program is to keep cost affordable for all juniors.
Each season the courses and foundation team together to provide the best rates possible.
The rates are as follows:
- Team Golf Par 3 @ Bur-Mil Park Par 3 - $50
- Team Golf Par 3 @ Ironplay Par 3 Links - $65
* This includes the 7-week season, Triad Championship (if applicable), league T-shirt, award ceremony and cook-out.

The Precision Golf School will offer a clinic League from Weeks 2-6 for Team Golf - Par 3 League
participants that mirrors clinics of the Precision Junior Academy. These clinics will follow Team Golf - Par 3 League
play and will last for one hour each week. The five-week clinics will cost $60.

INTEGRITY
Etiquette: respect the course, other players, and all instructors
Honesty: all shots must be counted by each player
FORMAT
Format: Play 9 Holes each regular season week
Caddies: are permitted and encouraged to help facilitate the learning process
Tee Markers: The red tee markers will be set before each event.
Play The Ball Down: you may only touch the ball once on the green
Out of bounds: any ball that finishes across the road is out of bounds – one shot penalty and shot must be replayed from the original place
SCORING
Scorekeeping: Each player will switch scorecards with another member of there playing group and are responsible for
that players score and there own. At the completion of the round, players must sign both scorecards to verify the accuracy.
Finish each hole: no gimmies allowed
Modified Double Par: Max 8 shots per hole. Four shots maximum to get on the green then four putts maximum once on green – if fourth shot is not on green, put ball on white dot in front of green.
Team score: Low three scores count to team total
Tiebreakers: In the case of a tie, the teams will use the fourth lowest score on both teams to determine the winner. In the case of a tie between seeds for the championship round, head to head records will determine standings.
DISTINGUISHED PLAYERS
Grand Championship: Qualifiers include the Regular Season & Tournament Champion of each league plus top individual players not on these teams.
Individual Trophies: Regular Season Team Champion, Tournament Team Champion, Most Valuable Player (lowest scoring average), Most Dedicated Player & Most Improved Player
